Everyday Wanderlust Travel Planning

Punting on the river in Cambridge, England

I came to travel planning with a background as a theater director and producer. Which means I know how to take someone's vision, work within real constraints, and make something happen.

I'm Rebecca Novick, owner of Everyday Wanderlust.

Why Work With Me?

Fewer Browser Tabs. Better Trips.

Travel research used to be manageable. Now it's a full-time job: sponsored results, outdated forum posts, influencer "guides" that are basically ads, and enough options to paralyze anyone.

I help couples, families, and solo travelers plan meaningful trips with seamless logistics, without spending days combing through the internet on their own. I know which hotels in a given destination actually deliver, which experiences are worth booking, and which neighborhoods put you close to what you actually came for. I handle all the bookings, the hotel perks you wouldn't know to ask for, and the logistics that keep shifting between booking and departure.

Who I work with:

People Who Travel On Purpose

They've been thinking about this trip for a while. They have opinions: not the most expensive hotel, the right one; not the tourist trap, the place that actually reflects where they are. They want their money to go somewhere real.

They're not after VIP upgrades and five-star everything. They're after a trip that gives them something to bring home — stories, a sense of place, an experience that belongs to them and not to a brochure.

They save up for travel because it matters to them. And they'd rather have someone whose judgment they trust figure out the details than spend their evenings hoping they're not missing something obvious.

I find this kind of trip often coincides with a meaningful moment: the anniversary you've been putting off, a first empty-nester adventure, a college tour with a kid who's almost gone. These are the trips people most want to get right.

If you've been thinking about a trip like this, let's talk.

Client Testimonials

Definitely using her again! Everything went so smoothly and I felt very much taken care of before and during the trip. We even ran into rerouting issues in-country due to floods and we barely experienced it as a glitch. I’m completely sold on Rebecca’s services.

This made for a very stress-free experience for me, so I was able to be truly present with my son as we explored the colleges
— Jen G. NYC College Tour
Rebecca did a dynamite job, combining multiple reservations and making sure all the details were in order at a very high-demand time of year.

More About Rebecca:

Planning a Client Trip from my Trusty Laptop

I’ve spent most of my working life as a theater director. The skills transfer: understanding what someone actually wants from an experience, working within real constraints, making sure everything is in place before the curtain goes up. I listen deeply, see your vision, and make it happen.

When you're the planner for your family and friend group, when your own mobility challenges mean you have to scrutinize every activity, and parenting a neurodivergent child means you're reading restaurant menus in advance, it might be time to start a travel business.

Everyday Wanderlust is built on my experience juggling complex family needs, orchestrating theater productions with many moving parts, and delivering solutions to my nonprofit clients.
